Rejected Shots
We kind of had a lot of rejected shots due to wrong lighting and sometimes people we selected could not perform well. We managed to get good light shots in the second take.
Editing
Our editing process was a bit hard, in the beginning we were failing to gain that look which other indie pop videos have. We chose to use different editing techniques like the shaky effect and the crop cut effect in the start of our video.
After cutting all the shots that we needed I used the bin to add the song "love the way you lie" and started to sync it with the shots that have already been cut and merged together. After that I cut down the unnecessary parts or the parts that are too long.
Since our video included the drug abuse scenes like, smoking, drinking and intake of heroine, we chose to add up the slow motion effect to such scenes in order to give the video a slow and sad impact. So going into the effects control panel, and by clicking time remapping, a blue map appeared on top of the video strip with a line on it. By setting the points from where to where I had to either increase or slow down the speed I used the pen tool to mark the positions and used the mouse to either drag the line up to speed up or the line down to slow down.
We took a lot of scenes in front of the green screen that we bought ourselves, especially the lip-sync scenes but unfortunately, a very few of them were used in our video because of the wrong lighting.

First Edit Analysis
Our first edit video, we made a clone shot of the main actor while sitting on the floor, sofa and standing near the sofa. It basically showed that the guy is very annoyed by someone by throwing his phone rudely on the sofa and making annoyed angry faces with slight movement of his body. All three wide shots were taken separately and combined the guy movements in one shot through editing.
The second edited video started with a screen opening of the guy lying on the dry leaves with low key lighting, this was shown through a wide shot, the next shot open up with the guys closeup while smoking in the red light showing his dark love. Gradually the next close up shot of the guy opens, where he is standing in a dark place with regret in his eyes, the next scene comes along with the guy having a drink with a slight slow motion effect. This short edit ends at the lip sync shot of the guy while smoking, that says "so i heart you found somebody else".
